WEBINAR: Outland Youth Employment Program (OYEP)
The Outland Youth Employment Program (OYEP) is a national network offering land-based education, training, and employment opportunities for high school-aged Indigenous youth. This six-week program provides hands-on work experience while delivering training and education in a supportive environment designed to mirror various professional settings.
OYEP takes an inclusive approach to Indigenous education, emphasizing recruitment and retention while fostering a safe and adaptable learning environment tailored to meet the unique needs of local communities and partners.
In close collaboration with Indigenous communities, OYEP consults with Elders to ensure that youth feel culturally and spiritually supported throughout their workplace experience. For more information, visit OYEP.
